The University of Queensland (UQ) is excited to announce its 2025 International Student Scholarship suite, offering a range of financial support for eligible international students. These scholarships are designed to reward academic excellence and provide opportunities for students to study at one of Australia’s leading universities. Below, we outline the available scholarships for 2025:

Available Scholarships

• UQ International Excellence Scholarship: 25% tuition fee reduction
• UQ International High Achievers Award: 20% tuition fee reduction
• UQ International Onshore Merit Scholarship: A$5,000 - A$10,000 tuition fee reduction
• UQ Lifelong Learner Scholarship: 10% tuition fee reduction

Key Changes for 2025

The 2025 scholarship offering includes a significant update to the UQ International High Achievers Award with an expansion of eligible nationalities. The scholarships are limited and highly competitive, so we encourage all prospective students to accept their offers as soon as possible to secure their scholarship chances.

Important Information for Agents

• These scholarships are available to eligible international students commencing their studies at UQ in Semester 1 or 2, 2025.
• Prospective students do not need to submit a separate application for these scholarships. Eligibility will be automatically assessed at the time of applying to study at UQ.
• If eligible, students will receive notification of the scholarship along with their letter of offer to study at UQ.
• The UQ Onshore Merit Scholarship provides a tuition fee reduction of A$10,000 or A$5,000 for UQ College Foundation packaged students.
• Students who have already received or accepted an offer to commence at UQ in 2025 will be assessed for scholarship eligibility in the coming weeks, with successful applicants being notified via email.
• Commission paid to agents will not be affected by the awarding of scholarships.
• Some UQ programs are excluded from the scholarship scheme. Details of these programs are available in the Terms and Conditions on the respective scholarship pages.
