New Destination Programs

In collaboration with the University of Adelaide, Kaplan is expanding its range of degree options for students. These include exciting new programs such as:

Preferred Pathway Provider to Adelaide University

2025 Scholarships for International Students

Kaplan has introduced new scholarship opportunities for 2025 to support international students:

CIE Diversity Scholarships

These scholarships are automatically awarded and cover various pathway programs:

• Foundation Studies: 15%
• Express Preparation Program: 10%
• Degree Transfer & Extended: 20%
• Pre-Masters (Standard): Up to 30%
• Pre-Masters (Accelerated): 15%

University of Newcastle Progression Scholarships

Eligible students progressing to the University of Newcastle in 2025 will receive an International Excellence Scholarship valued at $6,000 per year, renewable for the duration of their program.

Murdoch College Scholarships

Murdoch College has extended its 2024 scholarships to 2025, offering a 20% fee reduction for eligible international students. This applies to students progressing to Murdoch University upon completing their pathway programs.

New Pathway to Nursing

Murdoch College has approved a new pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing at Murdoch University. Limited to 20 students per year, this program offers entry opportunities for Foundation Studies and MUPCX students starting in July. Applicants must meet specific IELTS requirements to progress.

Exciting Experiences for Students

China Familiarisation Trip

In December, Kaplan and the University of Newcastle hosted a familiarisation trip for Chinese partners. Guests explored Newcastle’s vibrant culture, participated in campus activities, and visited the Hunter Valley for a wine-tasting experience.

Newcastle Experience Week

The CIE Services Team organised an engaging week of activities for international students, including team-building events, cultural celebrations, and outdoor adventures. This initiative aimed to immerse students in the beauty and opportunities of Newcastle.

Destination WA Guide

Study Perth has published the updated Destination WA Guide for 2024. This resource is available in multiple languages and provides valuable information about life and study opportunities in Perth, making it an essential tool for prospective students.

MUC Excellence Awards

In September, Massey University College celebrated its top-achieving students and the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. The event brought together students and staff to enjoy Chinese music, crafts, and cultural activities, fostering a sense of community and achievement.
