Hawthorn-Melbourne closes out 2024 on a high note, marking its first year at the new city-centre campus at 333 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. The move has been celebrated by both staff and students, who have embraced the modern, award-winning facilities and prime location close to Melbourne’s dining, transport, and cultural hubs. Notably, the campus was awarded Gold at the Melbourne Design Awards in the ‘Interior Design – Education’ category, a testament to its innovative and inspiring design.

A Year of Growth Despite Challenges

Hawthorn-Melbourne has set the stage for a strong start in 2025, with key dates for students preparing to join:
Campus Closure:
- 20 December – 5 January: The campus will be closed for the Christmas and New Year period.
- 2 January: The Admissions team will resume processing applications.
Important Program Start Dates:

6 January 2025:
- Registration Day for all new students (9:00 am at the campus).
- Start of the 5-week Intensive Academic Preparation course, ideal for students with unconditional university offers beginning in Feb/Mar 2025.

10 February 2025:
- Recommended start date for the English for High School program for students joining Victorian government schools in Term 3, 2025.

17 February 2025:
- Start of UMELBP Prep, designed for students with an IELTS score of 5.5 (or equivalent) who require a 20-week pathway to the University of Melbourne.
