The Australian National University is accepting applications for the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program, offering fully funded Master's degrees in select programs. The Australian National University (ANU) is now accepting applications for the prestigious Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP). This scholarship provides an incredible opportunity for students from eligible countries to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree at ANU.

Eligible Programs

Only four master’s programs at ANU are eligible for this scholarship:

  • Master of Climate Change

  • Master of Environmental Management and Development

Scholarship Details

  • Number of Awards: 5 scholarships per program

  • Deadline to Apply: 15 April 2025 (for January 2026 intake)

  • Next Application Stage: Shortlisted candidates will be invited to apply directly to the World Bank by 23 May 2025.

How to Apply

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must meet ANU’s admission criteria and secure an unconditional offer from the university.

Application Process:

  1. Apply for one of the eligible programs at ANU through an authorized MyCourseFinder.com education agent.

  3. Shortlisted students will be invited to submit a scholarship application directly to the World Bank.

  • Applicants must respond to the GS Assessment questions during their application process.

  • Financial capacity should be stated as applying for a scholarship in the application.

  • Commission Eligibility: Education agents are eligible for commissions, except when students:

    • Receive the Australia Awards Scholarship.

    • Are US citizens eligible for US Federal Financial Assistance.

    • Hold a diplomatic visa.
